Effect?

Vitamin D, also known as the “sunshine vitamin”, is a fat-soluble vitamin and also a precursor to hormones that help develop bones and teeth and balance hormones in the body. Deficiency in vitamin D can affect bone and muscle health and even lead to metabolic symptoms.

 

How to eat?

One capsule a day after meal. Do not consume more than one capsule a day.

 

What time do I eat?

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin, which is absorbed by the body together with the fat of food in the intestinal tract. You can choose to take it after the meal, and the absorption effect is better. You can choose a regular consumption at the time you are used to.

Can pregnant women take it?

How old can you eat?

We suggested people who are above 12 years old to consume it.

 

Can vegetarians eat it?

What is the difference between active and inactive vitamin D3?

Sources of vitamin D obtained from the sun and food are inactive vitamin D, which is converted to active vitamin D by the body.

(market health foods: vitamin D2(Calciferol; Calciferol and vitamin D3(Cholecalciferol; Cholecalciferol) is inactive.

Active vitamin D3(calcitriol: calcitriol) is a medical drug. It must be prescribed after doctor's evaluation. It is not recommended to consume it by yourself.

Q:吃了BHK's 維他命D,還需要補充鈣嗎?    
A:補充「鈣」仍是需要的喔~維他命D主要是在於增進鈣吸收與維持血鈣平衡,建議搭配補充鈣質,維持骨骼正常發育及維持健康喔。

Q:活性與非活性維他命D3的差別?    
A:經由日曬及食物獲得的維他命D來源皆屬於非活性維他命D,再由體內轉換為活性維他命D。
(市售保健食品:維生素D2(Calciferol ;鈣化醇)及維生素D3(Cholecalciferol ;膽鈣化醇)皆是非活性。)
活性維他命D3(calcitriol:骨化醇) 屬醫療用藥,須經醫生評估開立,不建議自行補充,容易造成身體的負擔喔。
